What I’m listening to
Even though my blog is based on food, I can’t help but express my love for this guy’s work on re-imagining modern pop songs. I want to say I was first introduced to Scott Bradlee’s channel when I was watching and listening to another person’s cover to a song. I saw on the side line of suggested videos and it pipped my interest. However, I wasn’t hooked until I heard a much better version of the song “Timber” by Pitbull and Ke$ha:
This song just hooked me in and I couldn’t get this version of the song out of my head. I had to listen to every song he re-did, even the ones that I absolutely hated as an original (I can’t stand the song “We Can’t Stop” or “Beauty and A Beat”).
So give this guy a try and unless you have a hard stance that you only listen to electronic dance music…then you and I can go our separate ways. I’ll jive all the opposite way down the road in fact.
